Krista is a multi-faceted developer with a passion for glittering shaders, nifty tools, and teaching all things real-time. With an eye for detail and enthusiasm for exploring beautiful math, she provides a strong bridge between disciplines, collaborating seamlessly to tackle complex problems and craft high-quality, optimized experiences.

She has a breadth of experience within the technical art sphere, wearing a variety of hats depending on the needs of the project: with an expertise in shaders and graphics optimization, she has also been responsible for creating and implementing VFX, building animation state-machines and rigging, setting up dynamic UI, automating the boring work through custom editor tools, and taking care of any general 3D tasks. Her work has been in collaboration with companies from a variety of industries; from brand marketing for Coca-Cola and Invisalign, educational VR materials for medical companies like Medtronic and Roche, to AAA and indie game studios. Aside from her production work in the industry, she has taken on mentor and professor roles, teaching at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and supporting interns within her studios.

​When she's not playing around with particle systems, you can catch her taking on a variety of craft projects, hiking around forests, or cheering on her soccer teams.
